Key safes for careline alarm customers
Key safes enable us to get you assistance really quickly. This is especially important to consider if you have family or friends that live more than 15 minutes away. With a key safe installed, the emergency services can enter your property if you need help so that you can be looked after.
We are one of the only careline providers who allow you to subscribe to the service even if you don’t have any keyholders living nearby; all we ask is that you install a key safe.
How do key safes work?
Key safes are typically installed on an outside wall of your property. Your house keys are stored safely inside a metal box which is securely locked using a code. Access to your keys is only possible by entering the correct code combination on the front panel of the cabinet. As a careline alarm customer, we will keep a record of the location of your key safe as well as your code and only ever pass this to the emergency services if they need to gain access to your property.

Having a key safe fitted can feel like an overwhelming prospect. After all, it holds the keys to your front door and your home!

This key safe has a combination lock, a weatherproof cover and it has space for 3 ‘Yale design’ keys.
